FUN LUNCH ORDERING IS OPEN!

FUN LUNCH 101: Did You Know?

Fun Lunch is run entirely by volunteers.  From the folks coordinating with vendors, programming the software, and sorting 400+ orders into bins, to the grade 5s and 6s that take the orders to the classrooms and handout to the students–every step is done by a volunteer.  Confusion and mistakes will happen.  We’ll do our best to sort it out.  Please be kind to our volunteers.  And, hey, consider volunteering yourself–at http://glenmorepac.ca/volunteer/

Fun Lunch is the PAC’s main fundraiser.  All profits go towards supporting our students and enriching their school experience. We try to balance fun with nutrition and keeping prices low with making a modest profit.  Last year we delivered over $120K worth of lunches and raised $18K–which was used to buy a new set of IPADs for the school, hold Family Fun and Family movie nights, replace a set of robotic Ollie programming toys used in STEM lessons, and much more!

We’ve switched to a new ordering platform: Munchalunch.  All parents will need to set up new profiles for their children. When you click on the button below, you’ll be taken to the main page where you’ll need to select “Register an Account.”

Also new this term: Multiple Ordering Opportunities.  This fall we’re trialing month-by-month ordering–you can order and pay for just one month at a time.  This will let parents split up payments and students can try new items without committing to a whole term of orders.  If you’re worried about forgetting future months, you can still place your whole fall order now.

Month by Month Deadlines

October lunch orders must be placed by Wed., Oct 4.
November lunch orders must be placed by Wed., Oct 18.
December lunch orders must be placed by Wed., Nov 22.

The hot lunch online order system requires a small amount of setup time at the beginning as you must register each child you have attending our school prior to ordering hot lunch.  Once the initial setup process is complete, your hot lunch orders for the remainder of the year will be quick and simple.
